Specialty beans typically run from around $7 to $15 per 100g for everyday drinkers, with premium single origins going higher. You don’t need to spend at the top end — plenty of excellent beans sit in the $8-12 range.
Not necessarily. Price reflects origin, rarity and processing as much as quality. Some of the best-value beans are approachable blends or washed coffees from high-yield origins — genuinely good coffee that simply costs less to produce.
